Entrepreneurship - Day 3

We started off class today talking about business plans and we spent a good half hour or so going over our own for our class project. This involved looking up the trading associations related to our business industry. Prof. Thompson provided us a with a few good resources for finding information for our business plans. We also looked further into our market and what strategies would be effective. After spending quite a bit of time lecturing we finished class with another Shark Tank video. I am glad we had class time to work on our projects, otherwise I would probably wait it off. I found some good material on my business plan and should be able to come up with a portfolio pretty easily. The Shark Tank video was interesting as usual. It featured a couple pretty stupid business ideas if you ask me. The first guy introduced magnetic Christmas lights that were way overpriced, while the other guy came up with a Christmas tree ornament the shape of the Star of David to celebrate both holidays. The nice idea, but if anybody really wanted to make money off it they are kidding themselves. One of the sharks actually ended up buying a share, though.
